As a result of globalization, many petroleum companies have withdrawn from conventional markets and have begun focussing on new markets for the future. The Leikermoser Mineralöl GmbH – a KISKA client headquartered in Salzburg – is reacting to these developments by creating a new brand of fuelling station: LM-Energy. Leikermoser is planning to expand its range of products and services to include other segments in the energy sector. “In order to accommodate this vision, the brand has been designed by KISKA so that it can be expanded either vertically or horizontally to other energy products,” says Paul Friedl, a KISKA partner. The shopping experience and appearance of LM-Energy are based on those of the major brands. At the same time it sees itself as a regional partner with a deep understanding of regional needs and how to meet them.
Self-confident & convincing: Salzburg's new energy brand
After a thorough market assessment, KISKA has developed a brand strategy with Leikermoser and used it to create an integrated, concise public brand image. "The challenge was to perfectly coordinate the corporate design with the corporate architecture," says Paul Friedl, a KISKA partner.
