Responsibilities
Jana is particularly interested in designing products for the audio and entertainment sectors.
Skills
Jana graduated in industrial design in Halle (Saale), with a thesis for Grundig Intermedia GmbH in cooperation with Arzberg Porzellan. After studying glass and ceramics in Budapest she then completed internships with Bosch Siemens and BMW. She joined KISKA in 2008.
Bjorn Shuster

Position: Senior Transportation Designer
Nationality: American
Responsibilities:
In his leadership position Björn will initiate, develop and execute stimulating new concepts and designs for KISKA’s transportation clients.
Qualifications:
Björn joined KISKA after spending five years in Detroit as a designer for General Motors. He co-created a wide range of products from off-road vehicles to luxury models, including Cadillac. During an internship at Polaris, he also gained an insight into the world of Power Parts.
Reinhold Schiefer
Position: Project Manager
Nationality: Austrian
Responsibilities:
Reinhold is responsible for project management in our Product Design and Transportation Design teams. His responsibilities include managing and allocating resources, monitoring costs and ensuring optimum workflow.
Qualifications:
After completing studies in Business Administration and Information Management, Reinhold spent nine years in the industry specialising in project management.
Daniel Frieg
Area of Responsibility:
Daniel divides his time between KISKA’s Transportation and Product Design teams, working on conceptual and ‘out of the box’ projects.
Qualifications:
Daniel studied Industrial Design in Essen and Transportation Design in Umea, Sweden. During his studies he spent time as an intern with Toyota in Japan, Studio Aisslinger in Berlin, and Volkswagen. He is especially interested in the connection between product and transportation design.
Fabian Vogl

Position: Designer
Nationality: Austrian
Responsibility:
Fabian is working in all areas of product design, above all he develops VPL concepts and takes care of the (graphic) design of products.
Skills:
After he finished his studies in Industrial Design at the college in Graz in 2010, Fabian worked as an intern at „Native Design“ in London with the Focus on high-end products in the audio and entertainment sector. He wrote his thesis in collaboration with the well-known Swiss outdoor company „Mammut“ for which he designed a multifunctional backpack.
Nicolas Garrido

Position: Senior Industrial Designer
Nationalität: Argentinian
Responsibilities:
Nicolas is an industrial designer with over ten years experience in the consumer goods sector. He is passionate about design, innovation, marketing, technology and business strategy and believes that hard work, creativity and cross-departmental cooperation are essential for excellence.
Skills:
After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires in 2002, Nicolas continued his studies in Strategic Design Management and Marketing. During his career he has been involved in numerous projects for a wide range of customers, with creative agencies and on the client side.
André Marsiglia

Position: Designer

Verantwortungsbereich:
André widmet sich mit Leidenschaft dem Design einer großen Bandbreite von Produkten, von Sportartikeln über Lifestyle-Produkten bis hin zu Haushaltsartikeln. Es reizt ihn, Lösungen zu entwickeln, die kommerziell erfolgreich sind und gleichzeitig eine neue Designqualität aufweisen. Dies gelingt ihm, indem er eine klare Vorstellung von den Zielen und Visionen des Kunden hat und diese nicht aus den Augen verliert.
Qualifikation:
André hat einen Master in “Advance Product Design” vom Umea Institute of Design in Schweden, seine Diplomarbeit wurde von Electrolux gesponsert. Bevor er zu KISKA kam, machte er Praktika bei Toyota Interiors in Japan und BMW DesignworksUSA California und arbeitete im Bereich Yacht Design.
Maxime Thouvenin

Position: Designer
Nationality: French
Responsibilities:
As passionated biker, Maxime is happy to connect his passion with his job by designing motorcycles.
Skills: During his studies of Transportation Design at the I.S.D. in France,
Maxime already specialised in motorcycle design. After a couple of
internships at KISKA and BMW Motorrad in Munich he came back to KISKA
as a designer.
Rainer Trummer

Position: Group Senior Designer 3D Modelling
Nationality: Austrian
Responsibilities:
In his role Rainer leads a team of people and contributes to KISKA’s digital modelling and other creative output.
Skills:
After graduating in industrial design at the FH Johanneum (university of applied sciences) in Graz, Rainer joined the design agancy vertical design force as a contractor, gaining useful experience in CAD. He then moved to Design Storz where he specialised in Alias modelling and gray zone design. After some years at Technicon Design he joined KISKA in the summer 2011.Rainer worked for clients like BMW, Porsche, VW, Audi, Mercedes, Ford, Peugeot, Citroen, Honda, Hyundai...
Ravi Jani
Name: Ravi Jani
Position: Designer
Nationality: British
Responsibility: Ravi is working within Transportation Design using a variety of methods to develop innovative solutions, from initial concept through to final outcome.
Skills: As a passionate automotive enthusiast, Ravi enjoys working on anything with wheels. He studied Automotive Design in the UK and loves bringing together branding and problem solving within transport and product design.
Stefan Sporrer
Stefan Sporrer
Position: Junior Modeller
Nationality: Austrian
Responsibility:
Stefan is working within Transportation Design as a Junior Modeller. In this position he uses clay to produce models of bikes and cars.
Skills:
Stefan is a career changer and first made a formation as orthopaedic technician. He joined KISKA in 2011 and can use perfectly his sensitivity.
Marcel Segur
Name: Marcel Segur-Cabanac
Position: Junior Modeller
Nationality: Austrian
Responsibilty:
Marcel works in the Transportation Design as Junior Modeller. In this position he uses clay to produce models of bikes and cars.
Skills:
Prior to joining KISKA, Marcel finished a formation in product and system design and then turned his hobby into a profession. He is technically interested and has a passion for bikes and motorbikes.
Elvin Hélias

Name: Elvin Hélias
Position: Digital Designer
Nationality: France
Responsibilities
Elvin uses subdivision software and his designer background to transform sketches and ideas from designers into 3D by a speed modeling technique. Thanks to his work the designers can figure out how the designs are working in a 3D environment with lights, shadows and reflections.
Skills
After a product design bachelor degree in France and a post-graduate Transport´s Equipments Design degree in Canada Elvin worked as a graphic designer before he received a Digital and Traditional Modelling degree at the “State Collège Designers” in France. After an internship and a freelance job at Dassault Systèmes as a digital designer, he joined the transportation team of Kiska position, a perfect place for a motorcycle fan like him.
Jamen Harris

Position: Senior Designer
Nationality: Australian
Responsibilities:
Jamen is the Project Leader of all the technical operations of KTM Powerparts and currently works between both Product and Transportation departments. He loves to find innovative solutions and enjoys the way his role enables him to combine practical engineering with creativity.
Skills:
Jamen has a degree in Industrial Design from Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia. After travelling around the world he spent several years in Germany, where he worked in many different design and engineering fields such as consumer products, electronics, aeronautical design, industrial machinery design and Architecture. He joined KISKA in 2011.
Bastian Schultes

Position: Designer
Nationality: German
Responsibilities:
Bastian likes to find the ‘special
something’ in every project, helping KISKA’s clients to transmit their unique brand values
through clear and consistent product design.
Skills:
During his studies at the HFG
Pforzheim and the College for Creative
Studies in Detroit, Bastian also worked in brand and
design for international
companies such as Lego, Nike,
Daimler and Miele. Before joining KISKA he worked for a design agency specialised in the design of
high-quality consumer electronics.
Mario Hinterstoisser

Name: Mario Hinterstoisser
Position: Studio Manager
Nationality: Austria
Responsibilities
Mario manages and coordinates the work of the Transportation team’s 3D and digital modellers and studio engineers. He ensures that the work they produce is in line with specifications and the client’s expectations.
Skills
A versatile and professional project manager, Mario obtained his degree in technical engineering in Austria before spending three years with a specialist tool making company. The next four years were spent managing a variety of projects for control systems, transportation and automotive components. He then spent a further three years in motorcycle design and project management before joining KISKA.
Simon Reuther

Position: Studio Engineer
Nationality: German
Responsibilities:
Simon's many roles include the design, rapid prototyping and reverse engineering of design concepts with the help of the most advanced technologies. He also handles data transfer.
Skills:
As a specialist in automotive mechatronics and mechanical engineering, Simon uses his technical know-how to support the Transportation team in all two- and four-wheel projects. He has a particular interest in off-road designs.
Adelheid Grubinger

Name: Heidi Grubinger
Position: Project Manager
Nationality: Austria
Responsibilities
Heidi ensures that work flows smoothly through the Transportation
Design team. As well as helping to allocate resources and report on the
status of every project, she monitors budget performance and ensures
that every milestone is met.
Skills
Heidi joined KISKA to use the experience she had gained in the commercial sector, where she learnt logistics and CIP (continuous improvement process) as well as project management.
Nils Radau

Name: Nils Radau
Position: Group Senior Designer
Nationality: Germany
Responsibilities
As leader of the product design team, Nils manages a group of talented multicultural and multinational designers. His role is to understand each client’s business and to translate this understanding into reality, ensuring seamless quality and attention to detail throughout the design process.
Skills
Nils has spent more than a decade designing consumer and business products, always demonstrating his ability to respond to the most complex challenges. He is a specialist in addressing strategic design issues through the development of a unique VPL (Visual Product Language) for each client.
Anna Reihl

Position: Modeller
Nationality: Germany
Responsibilities:
Anna transforms 2D sketches into amazing 3D clay models. Working in KISKA's Transportation team, she works mainly on two-wheel transportation. Anna enables designers to develop their concepts and enhance their ergonomic performance.
Qualification:
After an apprenticeship as a product designer specialising in modelling at the State College of Product Design in Selb, Anna joined Honda R&D in Italy, where she discovered her true passion - motorcycle modelling!
Stephan Lintner

Name: Stephan Lintner
Position: Group Senior Designer
Nationality: Germany
Responsibilites
Stefan is one of KISKA’s senior creatives and a talented presenter. He dedicates all his enthusiasm and passion to understanding every new project so that he and his team can develop an innovative solution. In addition to defining and implementing new design languages for our clients, he motivates the members of his team to give the best possible performance.
Skills
Stephan is driven by a passion to take a project from challenge to completion. His career since graduation in 1996 reads like an encyclopaedia of design, with work in the automotive, professional building equipment and consumer product areas. Stephan has a deep understanding of product design and development. He has an instinctive feeling for the correct approach and a natural ability to take qualitative research and translate it into new concepts that are both daring and desirable.
Wolfgang Plaickner

Name: Wolfgang Plaickner
Position: Chief Digital Modeller
Nationality: Austrian
Responsibility
As well as overall hardware and software management for the Transportation Design team, Wolfgang takes the lead role in using the power of the Alias program to create exciting realisations of new concepts and turn these into prototypes. He also supports other members of the team in software use.
Skills
Wolfgang has extensive experience in software and 3D modelling, as well as in CNC milling and surface treatments.
Stefano Cesari

Name: Stefano Cesari
Position: Digital Modeller
Nationality: Italy
Responsibilities
Stefano uses the latest digital technology to help designers give shape to their ideas and test the feasibility of each one for eventual production.
Skills
After receiving a master’s degree in automotive design Stefano worked with Fiat and Ford before joining KISKA. As well as expertise in automobile design, he is also skilled in developing two-wheel concepts.
Christof Täubl

Name: Christof Täubl
Position: Designer
Nationality: Austria
Responsibilities
Christof handles a variety of design work for the Product and Transportation teams. He is particularly interested in bringing together the best features of each speciality.
Skills
During graduating in industrial design, Christof held an internship at BMW before becoming a freelance and subsequently joining KISKA.
Achim Wurm

Name: Achim Wurm
Position: Senior Modeller
Nationality: Germany
Responsibilities
Achim works closely with KISKA Transportation designers to create models in clay, together with complementary metalwork and painting. When a life-size prototyping model is required, Achim delivers the results for use in many ways, such as presentation to clients, use in engineering development and display on exhibition stands.
Skills
After graduating in modelling, Achim studied as an intern with VW Design, BMW Design, and Adam Opel AG and Vezelhofen Studios, refining and deepening his skills in metalworking and clay modelling.
Sabrina Weber

Name: Sabrina Pelka
Position: Project Manager
Nationality: Austria
Responsibilities
Sabrina ensures a smooth workflow in the Design team. She coordinates resources and has an eye on every project monitoring budgets and milestones.
Skills
After studying at the Salzburg High School for Economics, where she specialised in foreign languages, Sabrina spent two years gaining office experience before joining KISKA.
Piers Spencer Philips

Name: Piers Spencer-Phillips
Position: Senior Designer
Nationality: UK
Responsibilities
A committed team leader, Piers works across a number of customer-facing areas such as web site design, animation and interface design. He also works on graphic DTG and clothing design projects.
Skills
Piers has over ten years of experience as an art director, creative director and interactive director working with leading creative agencies and clients across Europe and the U.S. He is an expert in 3D modelling, illustration, animation, interface design and clothing design as well as graphic design.
Alexandre Rossier

Name: Alexandre Rossier
Position: Group Senior Designer
Nationality: Swiss
Responsibilities
Alexandre is a professional trumpet player as well as a designer who specialises in four-wheel vehicles. He manages the development of automobiles from first concept to press release and ensures that studio resources are harnessed effectively to delight every client.
Skills
Alexandre has been a designer for over ten years, learning his skills with Bertone and Honda before joining KISKA. As well as creating new vehicle designs and prototypes, often using 3D modelling, he also analyses market research and participates in the marketing and presentation of new vehicles.
Craig Dent

Name: Craig Dent
Position: Senior Designer
Nationality: UK
Responsibilities
An enthusiastic motorcycle and bike designer, Craig aims to link the two-wheeled world with other areas of progressive design such as mountain sports and fashion.
Skills
After studying transportation design in the UK, Craig worked in-house with leading motorcycle manufacturers BMW and Honda in Germany and Japan.
Franz Baier

Name: Franz Baier
Position: Project Manager
Nationality: Austria
Responsibilities
Franz’s role is to support the creative talents within the Transportation Design team by providing them with resources such as modelling, rapid prototyping, CAD designs and so on. He also liaises with clients on technical and data issues.
Skills
After graduating from HTL Hallein, Franz consolidated and broadened his skills across a wide range of industry internships.
